So weird; I was just listening to KCRW's Chocolate City on my way to the 24-hour Home Depot (for to pick up some hunky coked-out bachelors, and some potting mix for the orchid), and they're doing their pledge drive and thanking contributors, and they thanked a caller named Carter Fisk. Carter Fisk was a cute-as-they-make-em-anymore skater that worked at the TCBY down the strip mall from the newsstand I worked at in high school. I remember he was planning to go to UCLA, so it makes sense that he'd be here, listening to Chocolate City on a Tuesday night, pledging his dollars to KCRW. His pledge challenge was 'to all the out of work actors'-- I wonder if he's an out of work actor. Nothing relevant came up on google; maybe that's why he's out of work, cause his agent or manager or whatever hasn't yet heard of the internet.

Anyway, carter fisk, if you end up finding this... you seemed cool but kinda full of yourself when you were 17. Hope that's worked out for you OK. I know it has for me.

Additionally, I got my wetsuit today, thanks to kind Gustopher. It fits. I'm going to learn to surf. Or even if i never get that far, i'm going to learn to jump into the ocean at 6 am and get engulfed by something many millions of times bigger than me and stretch out my eyeballs and rock my circulation, and my upper arms.
