I am still sick and now instead of going coff coff coff i go coffcoffcoffcoffcoffcoffcoff. It's the best! At night time i get a fever and it's rad. Last night i broke out the American Medical Association health flowchart book thingy that my insurance company gave me to keep me from going to that silly expensive doctor and within 5 minutes I was fairly certain i had pneumonia, and I was all excited. Then this morning i called a doctor and explained my symptoms and they refused to see me and said drink some water you pussy. I love doctors, they're the best. They're so much smarter than everyone else.

Speaking of smart, i had this kind of stunning realization about my cat Nora this weekend while I was home for Thanksgiving. Nora is 13 years old, i got her for my 12th birthday, and she is THE BEST and i don't mean the best like doctors and being sick are the best, i mean she is THE BEST CAT EVER. She has this kind of fucked up face with like a harelip, and her nose is all mushed in and she makes really weird snorting sounds and she's hyper, super affectionate and rad. I love her SO MUCH. So but anyway. I always told people that she must have gotten kinda kicked in the face in utero, cause i always thought her deformities were all cosmetic, but for some reason this weekend, i saw it very very clearly: Nora is definitely genetically munged. I was looking at her face and her eyes are kinda wide set and strangely shaped and I had this flash that I was looking at what a cat would look like with Down's Syndrome. Now, i don't think she actually has Down's Syndrome, and I really only think she's mildly retarded cause her motor skills are fine and she catches little voles and stuff but like, that crazy meow she does and the way she rubs her face in your hand like it was heroin.. they're a little disconcerting. And I was staring into her eyes and realizing, there's just not quite the same light behind them as there is behind Iodine's. Not that it's like disappointing or something cause truth be told I like Nora better than Iodine (thank god i restricted Iodine's internet access), but it's so strange to have this realization after knowing this cat for thirteen years and thinking of her one way. And realizing she's another way. I'll scan in some photos of her so you can share the magic. She's still the best cat ever cause she snorts though.
