Yesterday when i got home from work my new tindersticks record was waiting for me, even though i had only just gotten the shipping notice that day, and and it's the japanese import with the extra track, and whenever it snows, i like to listen to the tindersticks, and today it's like extra special brand new album day!

Earlier the snow wasn't as fun to watch cause it was tiny but now it's big bulging slow snow AND i have tuna fish sandwiches AND i have hot cocoa AND i have a kitty AND i'm not working even a little AND tindersticks. I am on top of the world.

Yesterday mars told me it might snow and we checked weather.com and it said DC and philly would only get a dusting so i totally forgot about it, and when my alarm went off this morning it was iowa caucus this, iowa caucus that, and i was in my doze-to-wake stage and then they said "let's run over those cancellations again" and i sat up in my bed and said "CANCELLATIONS!" out loud, just exactly like a moron would. And i ripped open my blinds and there it all was. And i walked to the hardware store to buy a phone cable because i am gay and never set up my modem and shit when i moved here like oh, a year ago. And to tell you the truth it's none too satisfying using a 28.8 connection when you're used to sitting on the you know, backbone of like 80% of the internet but whatever. It's snowing.
