And before that...

The chipmunky came backy back! This morning I saw Iodine run to the radiator and peer very intently over the air conditioner, tail swishing violently, and there he was, my special little chipmunk! I say if we've seen him twice, he needs a name, is what I say.

So the chipmunk, turbo, was eating his little food nut thingies and swear to god, the little peabrain stood up and put his itty bitty chipmunk paws up on the storm window! He was like begging to come inside and let me feed him to Iodine. I wanted so so much to reach out and grab him but I knew he'd be too quick. Plus, I just wanted to hug him and that wouldn't work out, Iodine would get him pretty quick and I don't really want him to die, what with him being so durn fuzzy and all. It's really, I don't know if I'm getting this across very well, but it's really something special to see a chipmunk up that close, you don't really get the opportunity to do it very often, cause they're small and fast and who do you know who has a pet chipmunk? The set up with the bushes and the air conditioner is so lucky cause it's like, while he's sitting up there, he's in a little aquarium and me and Iodine can just stare and stare and stare.

Dude, Iodine, honest to god, smacked her little kitty lips. Like she really had some excess saliva to deal with. It was rad.

Anyway, eventually the dunderhead sort of started to pick up on the fact that something was going on, and he was advancing really really slowly (jerkily, being a rodent and all) towards the storm window and then he took a sniff at the foam that holds the airconditioner in, and Iodine was like RIGHT in front of him, and i think he finally smelled her through the foam and then he took off.

I wonder if he'll remember not to come back. I sure hope not.
