so I went to a born again christian wedding saturday, and it was a very nice wedding with some very nice born again christians (some of the less judgmental ones... the woman getting married is a single mother, no easy position for a born again christian, and she deserves much much respect for putting up with the shit she has no doubt put up with) (plus for raising the best little freckled little cutie ever raised) (plus she's awesome) and but so more importantly, OMG! TOBY FROM DC TALK WAS THERE! Not that i have any real idea what that means except this (AVOID the flash, really really irritating), but he sure was hot. And had THE CUTEST child.

Anyway, I was wearing a dressy dress and heely heels and I had this realization that wow, I have some kick ass shoes and nice clothes that I only exploit like once or twice a year, and i'm not always gonna look like this, so last night for fireworks i worked the girl style. Of course, i brought flip flops to prepare for the inevitable argument between my right pinky toe and my TastyVogs, but in general, it was kinda fun. Gonna start dressing up more often.

After the wedding and reception and all, we went to this abominable club's abominable "rave"-type thing and I came perilously close to having one of the more shit times I've had in recent years, but then we found the magic room with the good music and lots of room to dance and air to breathe, so it was cool. Can I ask a question though? Does anyone actually like smoke machines? I'm pretty sure they're unilaterally assy. I think the whole world can get behind that idea too. Is there some kind of smoke machine racket going on that we're not aware of? If so, I think it should be an official "issue" in the upcoming presidential election. BECAUSE THIS TAXPAYING AMERICAN IS FED UP!
