I hesitate to add this entry because I feel like it trivializes it, but my good friend's very wonderful boyfriend, Charles the Magnificent, has died and it is very, very not fair. Having just come back from watching my uncle mourn the woman he had had the full opportunity to spend a lifetime with, it is even more painful to see a strong, solid love between two wonderful people denied a chance to last as long. It is Not. Fair. It sucks, and it's horrible.
